Having announced a record quarter last year after hosting events for M&S, Tesco and Google, Central Hall Westminster has seen a 53% increase in turnover for 2013/14 and a 41% increase in direct venue enquiries for 2013/14.
As a result of this growth, Neil Parry has joined the venue from English Heritage as director of sales and events and Maria Schuett has been promoted to the newly created role of head of marketing.
Paul Southern, managing director, Central Hall Westminster, said: "We’ve had some great results at Central Hall over the last couple of years and I’m delighted that we can reinvest this success by growing and developing our team.
"Neil will bring a wealth of experience to the venue and I’m very pleased that we can recognise Maria’s achievements with this newly created role."
Last year, Schuett led the venue’s award-winning ‘Meet The Future’ campaign, which showcased a range of the latest event technology, including a new iBeacon app and 3D holographic projection technology.
