Starwood opens Luxury Collection hotel in Mexico City

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has announced the opening of Las Alcobas, Mexico City, in the Polanco district.

The hotel has 35 rooms and suites, including two-bedroom suites and three penthouse suites. Each room is decorated in a contemporary style reflecting the city’s heritage, and features a bathroom with rain shower and whirlpool bath.

There are two meeting spaces available offering 121sqm of function space, with a capacity for 80 delegates. The smaller space is suitable for board meetings for up to ten people. The space is equipped with large screens and audiovisual equipment, and personalised catering is available.

Other facilities available include the signature restaurant Anatol, which serves international cuisine, the Aurora Spa, with private treatment areas and massage therapies on offer, and a 24-hour fitness centre with cardio and weight training equipment.
