The building will have a 3,000sqm exhibition hall that can seat up to 2,560 delegates, and can also be partitioned into smaller rooms of 1,000sqm and 2,000sqm. It will feature four other meeting rooms that can each accommodate 200 people.

The ICE building will adjoin the Sendai International Centre Conference Building, which has a main hall that can seat 1,000, a 755sqm exhibition hall and 12 further meeting rooms in a range of sizes.

Both buildings are situated close to cultural facilities, including museums and Tohoku University. They will also be close to Sendai’s Tozai Subway Line which is planned to open in December this year.
