Scottish museums unveil meeting spaces

The National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh, which opens on 29 July (and for corporate events in October), and the Riverside Museum in Glasgow, which opens on 21 June, have redeveloped their meeting spaces.

New features of the National Museum of Scotland, which has undergone a £46.4 million redevelopment, include a stunning Wildlife Panorama: a soaring array of animals swimming, flying, floating and gliding above the grand gallery. This space, which can accommodate up to 1500 people, is one of many available for hire at the Museum.

The new £74m Riverside Museum, which has been constructed beside the River Clyde, will be home to Glasgow’s transport collection as well as some impressive new exhibits.  Space available to hire for events includes the Tall Ship, the Glenlee, berthed alongside, which can up to 200 people for a drinks reception or 150 for a formal dinner.
