Peermont Resort receives £10m upgrade

Peermont Hotels, Casinos & Resorts has upgraded the Umfolozi Hotel Casino Convention Resort.

Located 15km from Richards Bay in KwaZulu-Natal, the resort has received a R115-million (£10m) makeover, which includes the addition of the 44-room 3-star Peermont Metcourt Hotel, convention facilities that can accommodate up to 200 guests, and a multi-purpose arena that can house up to 600. There is also an outdoor adventure park that can be used for team building exercises.

Also due to open soon is the Camelot Spa at Peermont's Mondazur Resort Estate Hotel in San Lameer on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast.

The spa's facilities include a flotation pool and nine therapy rooms. The 40 room, 4-star hotel also offers an 18-hole championship golf course.
