Lager brand unveils plans to leverage Uefa Champions League sponsorship
Heineken International has appointed Iris to run part of its event activity around its sponsorship of the Uefa Champions League.
The agency's remit is to create an international strategy to leverage Heineken's sponsorship including its experiential and point-of-sale activity.
The campaign is scheduled to launch later this year, to coincide with the group stage of the 2009/2010 Uefa Champions League.
Iris Europe chief executive Paul Bainsfair said: "We have developed a compelling idea for Heineken that will run throughout the world during all stages of next season's Uefa Champions League."
In March, UEFA appointed Iris to run a celebration for football fans in the run up to the Uefa Champions League Final.
