C&IT's redesign follows 18 months of face-to-face interviews, group think tanks and online feedback from the brand's readers.
C&IT editor Yasmin Arrigo said: "As a result of this extensive research, we've added the Insight section, packed with opinion, corporate viewpoints and the latest industry developments.
"It kicks off with a digital focus highlighting the best of the bloggers from citmagazine.com, online opinion polls and the best industry tweets, and continues with the burning issues dissected by our columnists."
The magazine and website feature brands such as Google, John Lewis, Sony and Cisco with a focus on their pre-event planning and communications strategies, as well as post-event analysis.
The revamped Itinerary section covers destinations from Manchester to Moscow, with the February issue focusing on Damascus, Croatia, Moscow and Singapore.
